Approved Architect/Builder Lists

Approved Architect/Builder Lists

As a friendly reminder, please be aware the adopted CPA Design Guidelines require that architects and builders/General Contractors must be pre-approved prior to designing or constructing homes in the CPA areas of Hideout.  Further, state-licensed architects are required to be involved in the design of every CPA home reviewed by the Design Review Committee.

If you plan to build on your lot and are not sure if your desired architect or builder is on one the Approved lists, please check the lists posted under the “Documents/Design Review” tab on the CPA website.  If your architect and/or builder is/are not on one of the lists, they can apply for consideration by filling out an application and submitting to the CPA along with a resume and portfolio.

Please contact the CPA if you have any questions.

Winter Bus Service Update

Winter Bus Service Update
Bus service to the Hideout area has been recently expanded, offering more
opportunities for residents and guests to get where they need to go without
an automobile. Park City Transit operates the route in conjunction with
Summit County.
Route 11 (the Black line) serves the Hideout area via a bus stop located at
Todd Hollow/Deer Mountain Affordable Community. The bus line extends
from the Park City/Old Town Transit Center to the Kamas Park & Ride lot
on Main Street in Kamas.
In addition to the Hideout area stop, the bus line includes other stops at the
Park City Medical Center, Peoples Health Clinic, Park City High
School/Learning Center, and Park Avenue Condos. There is also a link to
bus Route 12 from the PC Medical Center, providing easy access to the
Kimball Junction Transit Center and nearby Kimball-area shops and Tanger
outlets.
Route 11 currently operates seven (7) days a week, with hourly morning
and afternoon trips going in both directions. Please go to
www.parkcitytransit.org for more specific information on scheduled trip
times.

Weed Abatement

The Community Preservation Association is asking for all owners to please help our efforts with weed abatement.  Whether you own a home or a lot in any of the Hideout developments, weed abatement is the responsibility of the home or lot owner to maintain each year.  Please consult your preferred provider or you can contact Park City Landscaping at 435.538.2476.

The best method to eliminate weeds is to spray 3 times a year; spring, summer and fall. Weeds are already sprouting, and we encourage you to start weed abatement maintenance.

Thank You,
Community Preservations Association
